"My name is Dana Jonsgaard.
I am a wife, mother of three, a grandma to Devon, Levi, and Mya Mae, and Liam.
I co-founded this group on November 10, 2005.  I have met many other crafters from all over the world and we all love to give to those in need.  Our friendships continue to grow as we gather to bring smiles to many and give hope to the despaired."

I dedicate this website to my dear mom who I miss more and more each and every day.  My mom gave of herself in so many ways!  Liver and Bone Cancer quickly took her from us.

As an all volunteer organization, we are always looking for more help. We are knitting and crocheting homemade hats to comfort our soldiers as they serve for us in Iraq and Afghanistan. These hats are sent to soldiers in the field and medical units where the sick and wounded are prepared to leave for hospitals in Germany or back home in the United States. A warm, wool hat, made with love, provides both physical comfort and a "hug of thanks".
